*Introduction to Managed DirectX*
Wednesday, February 15 - 3:30pm - Dreese 264

Diane Curtis, an OSU graduate and Microsoft Academic Developer Relations
Manager, will be giving a presentation on Managed DirectX. Topics that
will be discussed include the history of DirectX, the SDK, graphics
concepts and terminology, free 3D models and graphics, capturing input,
and resources.

Friday, February 17 - 8:00pm - Dreese 113

We will have free pizza and watch “PI” (about a paranoid mathematician
who searches for a key number that will unlock the universal patterns
found in nature) and “Hackers” (about a virus writer and his friends who
discover a plot to unleash a dangerous computer virus, but must use
their computer skills to find the evidence while being pursued by the
Secret Service and the evil computer genius behind the virus).
