I thought this was pretty cool, it was released a few days ago. Due
to huge demand, they changed their home page, but this was from the
"Elephants Dream is the world's first open movie, made entirely with
open source graphics software such as Blender, and with all production
files freely available to use however you please, under a Creative

It is really a short, as it clocks in at 9:55, but this is still a
really cool idea. They offer varying qualities of the film, going all
the way up to 1920x1080 (1080p). They are kind of slammed on
bandwidth, so using the torrents would probably be a good idea.
This just shows what can be accomplished using open-source tools,
methods, and licensing. With the production files being available
under the CC license, we may also see some cool derivative work as
