The upgrade broke my 3D acceleration (I used fglrx) and also broke my beryl.
In addition to that my vmware settings also got messed up and my Samba
configuration. However, that didn't let me down and I reformatted and put a
fresh copy of Ubuntu 7.04. And let me tell you, this is the MOST impressive
release EVER. It was soo smooth installing my fglrx drivers and getting
Beryl to work compared to Edgy. Also, all my media keys work so that is very
impressive. I am very happy with this release. I hope everyone else enjoys

Subject: [opensource] Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn

After much waiting (at least on my part), Ubuntu Feisty Fawn is finally out.
I am currently in the process of upgrading. If you currently use Edgy (6.10)
you can easily update by going to the update manager and clicking update
next to the text where it says "new distribution release 7.04 is available".
I hope this release will continue to amaze me just as every other release by
Ubuntu. After I upgrade, I will tell you if I ran into any problems and how
worth this upgrade is. Have a nice day.
