[opensource] Trouble loading OSU page in Linux

I'm having difficulty loading the financial aide website ( http://sfa.osu.edu ) in Linux (by Firefox). It seems to be mostly isolated to Linux, and because I use a non-Windows/non-Mac machine, the person at OIT refused to help me or even acknowledge that there could be anything wrong with the site. Another friend, who also uses Linux, encountered the same problem.
For troubleshooting, I tried loading Windows into a virtual machine and accessing it through Firefox/IE6, and got the same problem, but it loads fine on "pure" Windows machines. My network settings seem ok, and I'm able to load just about any other page with "osu.edu" or "ohio-state.edu" strings in the URL with no difficulty whatsoever.
The IT person refused to acknowledge that there could possibly be a problem with the page, and insists that it is the "poorly configured browser and OS I'm using", despite that everything else loads just fine, and that I was able to load the page about a week prior to the issue without any significant changes to my browser settings. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any advice? I really don't want to have to separately boot another OS whenever I want to see my financial aide statement. For anyone who asks, I'm using Firefox 126.96.36.199, and Ubuntu 7.04. Standard DHCP network configuration, with no proxies or anything. I'm also curious if it's only Ubuntu (which would mean it's an OS problem) or other Linux flavors (meaning it's a server problem).
