I'm trying to gauge the level of interest among CSE students in the
possibility of an 'Introduction to Python' course.
Python is a highly readable and easy to use language that has been gaining
popularity for quite some time, due to it's flexibility and ease of use for
rapid prototyping. Python is quickly being integrated into many software
packages as the scripting language of choice, and it also benefits from a
growing community of developers who are providing thousands of useful (and
free) packages for anything from game programming to Matlab style plotting
and numerical processing capabilities.
Please take two minutes to fill out this short survey, and let me know if
you are interested in a course about Python:
